The sixth week of competition on the Fall 2007 edition of the smash reality series Dancing with the Stars aired this evening on ABC. Each celebrity/professional pair was charged with performing a dance that was new to them. In addition, they all donned their dancing shoes for a group number. Who rocked it and who didn't? Read on!

The Dancers: Sabrina Bryan/Mark
The Dance: Foxtrot
The Music: I'm a Woman
The Outfit: Black, sparkly dress with white halter accent
The Performance: As always, good flow, energy and drama. It looked very much like a typical 'Sabrina offering'.
The Evaluation:
Len - Called it too powerful.
Bruno - Encouraged her to work on her finesse.
Carrie Ann - Told her to ignore the men, and said she was "feisty" when she needed to be feisty and "smooth" when she needed to be smooth.
The Scores: 9, 8, 8 = 25

The Dancers: Jennie Garth/Derek
The Dance: Mambo
The Music: Mambo Baby
The Outfit: Red, cutout sides, long tail, halter top
The Performance: Aside from a slight miscue with a turn near the end of the performance, it was a fun, energetic dance. She also seemed to be concentrating hard at times.
The Evaluation:
Bruno - "That's dirty dancing!" He said it was fantastic.
Carrie Ann - "You let it all hang out." Great job.
Len - "To progress you've got to come out with an exceptional performance" and then told her that she'd done it.
The Scores: 9, 9, 9 = 27

The Dancers: Jane Seymour/Tony
The Dance: Jive
The Music: Modern Love
The Outfit: White halter top, black and white glittery short skirt, suspenders
The Performance: It was cute and fast - I'm repeatedly impressed with how young Jane looks when she's out on the dancefloor. However, it didn't seem to be a natural fit for her.
The Evaluation:
Carrie Ann - She appreciated the energy that she brought to the floor, but she thought that the dance wasn't up to Jane's level.
Len - "Some dances are not on certain people's wavelengths."
Bruno - "It wasn't your most comfortable dance."
The Scores: 8, 7, 7 = 22

Takeaways
  • Spice Girl Mel B scored her first perfect 30 this evening.
  • Jane Seymour and Marie Osmond scored the lowest totals.
