Walt Disney World is a massive complex twice the size of Manhattan. With multiple hotels and resorts on site that cater to all budgets and experiences, there is certainly one that will fit your bill.

Walt Disney World offers three levels of lodging. There is value lodging for those who are thrifty or on a budget, moderate lodging for couples and families looking for a little more, and their top of the line deluxe accommodations. There are also vacation clubs available as well as camping and cabins. More information is available on their website regarding the vacation club and camping.

Each group of resorts and lodging offer you the benefits of on-site transportation as well as their Magic Express benefit which will whisk you and your bags to and from the airport without the hassle of having to rent a car.

In the value range, Disney World offers four resorts to fill the bill. There is Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. Rooms start at $79 a night in the value season and different options are available. There is pizza delivery available, food courts and themed pools. These make a great choice for a family with small children.

Moderate resorts are the next step up with full service dining, themed pools with slides, whirlpools and pizza delivery. Moderate resorts prices start at $139 a night in the value season and offer different options as well. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarters all offer unique personality for you to choose among. Whether you are interested in the historic feel of New Orleans, a beach feel at the Caribbean Resort of if you prefer a taste of Mexico with the Coronado Springs, there is something for everyone.

Takeaways
  • Three are three levels of accomodations: value, moderate and deluxe.
  • On-site transportation is provided for all resort guests.
  • The Magic Express will pick you up and drop you off at the airport.

The value resorts offer a great price for families! I'm a huge fan of Caribbean Beach myself.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of the value resorts, especially the All-stars. However, I had a horrible experience at the Pop Century and have no plans on going back to that one >.
