Dedicated skiers and snowboarders know that while the northeast may offer some interesting resorts and destinations, one has to travel west to find real mountains and real skiing. Certainly, one of the best states to find some truly excellent skiing is Colorado. Of course, Colorado by itself offers any number of possible options for potential travelers. However, those who want to find some truly great skiing and a very enjoyable place to stay can do no better than Copper Mountain Ski Resort.

There are many things that make the resort so special. From special all inclusive package deals to every type of winter activity you can imagine, Copper Mountain is sure to keep both new and veteran skiers and snowboarders and their families, it is unlikely that any will be disappointed with Copper Mountain. The lodge also offers a shopping district and restaurant, and includes some very nice rooms and even has reasonable rates and instruction available.

However, by far the best thing about Copper mountain is the actual skiing that can be enjoyed on the mountain. While there are a great number of trails to choose from, narrowing down the ten best trails can help potential travelers make a plan of action before they even get to the mountain, allowing them to spend the most time on the best trails on the mountain.

10.) Minor Matter - Although Minor Matter definitely isn't the most difficult trail your going to encounter at Copper Mountain, it still has the potential for some fun, incorporating a few twists and turns, but not being difficult or too elevated for the novice skier. Those with some experience should also enjoy Minor Matter as a good warm up before getting into some of the more serious trails.

9.) American Flyer - Representing a step up from the beginner trails, American flyer offers a fun run without too much danger or difficulty. Remember that Copper Mountain has enough trails to keep a person busy for a long time, and sometimes the best way to enjoy those higher level trails is to start warming up with some intermediate ones.
