Light and Gabriel came over a neighboring hill. The hare descried a solemn scene. The children were well enough, all standing still in a circle, the birds of Brunehaven were there as well, with Samson, Peppi, and Ragel. They were mourning four bodies in the center."Come," said Light to Gabriel, " Follow me."
The children made way as both Light and Gabriel came to the center. There was fear in all their hearts(a fear of reverence) as Light stood before them, but a reassuring word from the divine, appeased the uneasiness there. Gabriel in his heart was beginning to doubt of all the power he had witness, "If this he is God," thought the hare, " why couldn't he save these four as he did the children."
When Light perceived the thought he answered,"
"Don't think that way, this has been done that all present may believe, and that God may be honored."
After speak he went up to the first body: a golden eagle. Touching the top of his head, the eagle fluttered his eyes, then rising, he stood vigorous as if he was never deceased. All marveled, but more was to come. The second bird was a falcon. Light blew on him and in similar fashion that bird lived again. The third bird was a sparrow, but Light did not touch nor blow on him. He sought the crowd for the sparrow's brother.
"Do you believe I am able to this?" he asked.
The sparrow, in a shaky, embolden voice, said.
"You have raised two, there is no doubt that three should be a problem."
With a smile, the Just One said,
"Your faith shall be a memoriam to your generations. Take you brother and rejoice."
The dead sparrow followed suit as the other two. Finally there was Gideon. Light knelt down beside the dead hero and replied:
"Time to wake up, time to rise, Get up my friend and open you eyes."
Upon those most assuring words, the white hare, which was clearly dead, slowly opened his eyes, yawned, and began to look around. He glanced up at the redeemer of his life, and could not contain the tears of worship. Light, help Gideon up, said,
"I know, Gideon, I know."
Samson came forward, and taking a knee he expounded a deep truth of prophesy for all to hear.
