Many people are unaware of the Vocational Rehabilitation services in their own home town. The ones that do know about it think it’s only for helping handicapped citizens. Wrong. The Vocational Rehabilitation is in a position to help with free surgery, dental work and much, much more.

If you are employed, but a health problem may prevent you from continuing to work, your local Vocational Rehab can help. Especially convenient for those who need a major operation, but have no insurance, Vocational Rehab will pay for the doctors’ visits, medication, actual surgery, recuperative equipment and physical therapy, as well as major dental work, too.

Say you’ve been told by your doctor that you need a hip replacement. No insurance? Visit your local Vocational Rehabilitation Center. They’ll see that you get quality care so that you’re able to go back to work soon. Some Vocational Rehab centers specify that you must return to work within a certain amount of time, or be billed for their services, though, so make sure you understand the terms before receiving help.

Had dental problems for years? Discolored, broken or missing teeth keeping you from a promotion you deserve? Are your dental problems causing you pain? Speak to someone at your local Vocational Rehabilitation center. They’ll help you find a dentist in your area that can fix your dental problems and get you back to work in no time.

The Vocational Rehabilitation’s goal is to help those with handicaps find and keep work. Even if your handicap is temporary, such as a bum hip, they’ll help you get fixed up and back to work. They also offer vocational counseling, job matching, custom training, assistive technology and independent living help. You must be able to prove that you cannot afford the surgery yourself, and that your income is too low to pay for the treatments.

You must have it made in the shade. Even if a person gets a job it does not guarantee them medical insurance and a lot of places you cant even get your insurance until almost 3 months!!! I know of a dentist in Pennsylvania that every year he gives free dental care to anyone, young or old in honor of his son who died at a young age. He gives up his time as well as the entire staff that day. People are lined up on lawn chairs as early as early as 5 am to get in at 8 am when he starts. They do not leave until all the patients are seen. I have a friend who works 7 days a week with no benefits and needs dental work badly. So badly that he has a serious infection that could cost him his life! Why don't you have someone pull some of your teeth and take away any resources you have to get the work done and see how you feel!! Yes there may be some people just wanting a hand out but when the person by some miracle finds someone to help them a picture is worth a thousand words. All th

I am 41 years old have four children and have extremely bad dental problems. I have several teeth broken into the gum on top, one full tooth to the right side and only one tooth in the middle left that is broken in half. I look stupid when I smile I hate to talk to people because it is very ugly. On the bottom I have only the front teeth and they are rotten. In turn I stay sick pretty much because my teeth are bringing me down. I can't get a decent job because people turn me down for my teeth. I don't have money to pay for my dental work. To make matters worse I have an enlarging heart and pvc's. I cry everyday because I never thought I would have ever looked like this. Sometimes in my prayers I ask if I could please get help to be able to live again like normal people. I even sometimes say that If I could have one wish it would be to have teeth again to be able to eat right again. I can't chew on much and now my front tooth is about to be lost I will not be able to chew at

Hi my name is Sharon C. I am 61 years old and divorced. I have had dental problems all my life. My dental care was pathetic growing up. Didn't have a toothbrush until I was 8 years old. I have never had the extra money to take care of my dental needs. I have 4 daughters and their needs always came before mine. The one and only chance was in 1999 when I went on disability. But, an unforeseen crisis came up and my chance of finally getting the chance to smile vanished. I have a part time job but I struggle every month to get by. I am petrified of dentist because of a horrible visit to a dentist when I was 12 years old. I have never taken handouts or charity but now I must put away my pride and look for help. I have no money to get my dental problem fixed. Is there anyone that can help me to finally smile? screspo@sbcglobal.net

I think that this is a wonderful find. I have also been struggling with dental issues and no extra money to get the work done. But the local programs in my area (I have been to 2 times and that was because I was in so much pain I was ready to blow my brains out.), they were less than a grand experiences. One dentist broke my tooth down to the gum, and refused to fix it before I left..(Hmmm) But the program paid him anyways.. But I really need to get some extensive work done this time, and like all these other people here, I would like to find one who is good, and inexpensive.. I live in the state of Alabama, so anyone who personally knows of a good one drop me a line with his/her name and number please.. Thank You and God Bless..

I too have extreme teeth problems. I am missing teeth in the back and front. I have 4 children and a granddaughter I am raising and desperatly want to get a job to help support them. Noone will hire someone who can't speak or smile. I have always worked with children but noone wants there kids being taught by a woman with no teeth. I will happily pay for any work done as soon as I can get a job. Not asking for charity, just help till I can become employed. My husband works to support all of us alone because I havn't been able to help. With dental care I would be able to make such a difference in our family. dcart1971@yahoo.com

Youre kidding, right?? Give me a break! Ive got Mitro valve prolapse and its NOTHING! TONS of people have that and go to the Dentist! and ALLLLL Dentists KNOW what to do! Just, call a dentist!

I can not believe how many people there are on here writing about their teeth problems and expecting for one, anyone to email them for help. Just what sort of help does all think they are going to be getting? I do not think there is ANYONE that will give you help! Not through email and if someone has received any help from their postings, please, come back and enter those emails to let those that are needing help know that others reading your teeth problems have actually come to help you because of your email posted on here. Some Dentists, WILL take payment plans.. So I suggest getting a job and doing the best you can to make those payments and get your teeth fixed all by yourself. Some of these postings I can not believe!

I am 36 years old and my teeth are completely destroyed. I have degenerative disc disease and been on several different pain medications that have seemed to have effected my teeth. I was layed off 3 years ago and had a lot of personal issues in my family. I want to try and work again but you know trying to get a job and not smiling is not going to get it. I am so embrassed. I dont get out in public but to take care of necessities. I need to stay moving with my back problems but just cant stand the thought that some one see's my teeth so I stay indoors. I have read alot of the previous stories and I feel for them but If there is someone out there to help me PLEASE contact me. My husband is the only one working and he is doing all that he can. I miss being part of the outside world. Please help me, I will be forever grateful.......................lucile777@netzero.net
