The holidays are approaching, and that has many parents trying to figure out where safe toys can be purchased. Surprisingly, there are many toy companies right here in America that have the stamp of approval for safety and health. There are some great toy companies right in America's back yard.

Here are just a few that sell toys made in America. Some of these companies have good old fashioned toys made from wood, this might be a good way to introduce a new tradition in toy giving to children.

Dear Relieved Mom, You're very welcome. It is nice to know there are still those "little elves" making safe toys for our children. I think anything made by hand teaches children the real value of that item made and of course being that the "elves" made it special and just for them adds that perfect touch to any Christmas, Hannakuh or Kwanzaa holiday. This toy recall is actually a blessing in disguise! Who needs the big fat toy manufacturer! Will the REAL Santa (and elves) please stand up! Best Wishes for a blessed holiday!
