How to Get the Most Room Out of a Small Space

A small space can be challenging when it comes to decorating your home. You want to make the most out of your small space. A small space can be a good project to find out what kind of decorating you can do with this size of space. There are ways that you can make the most out of your small space. The first thing is to make your room look better and bigger then it actually is. When you hang curtains up hang them up closer to the ceiling overtop of the window and expand and hang your curtain rod over each side of the window to make your window look larger. Let your curtains fall on each side of the window exposing the entire window in the middle. This will fool the eye and make it look like your window is tall and wide. Making your small space look larger.

A small room should always have shelves built in to the walls. Your room is small and your don't want to add much furniture in your room. Built in wall shelves can add depth to your room and make your room look even larger. Adding mirrors will make your small space look larger giving it reflections and making it seem like it is larger then it really is. When your space is small opening up your room to other rooms can make it seem more open and big. It is nice to have separate rooms but when your rooms are open to each other it seems like you have more space and this can make your room appear larger then it is.
