American Gangster, I Am Legend, The Bee Movie. What do all of these movies have in common? They are great movies that come out this fall. When going to the movies is there anything worse than going to a big movie and having a horrible seat.?Weather it is sitting in the front row or sitting next to someone that won't stop talking, there is nothing positive about getting stuck in a bad seat. Is there anything you can do? Here are a few tips to ensure you get a good seat at the theater.

Get to the theater early. This should go without saying. If you want a good seat at the theater get their early. A good rule of thumb is get to the theater about 20-25 minutes before the movie is scheduled to begin. This will give you plenty of time to buy your tickets, stand in the snack line and then pick out your seat. If your watching a movie the weekend it comes out you might want to get to the theater even earlier.

Split the line responsibility. Going to the movies with your spouse or with a friend? Why not split the responsibility of standing in line. Have one person stand in line to buy your tickets, have another person stand in line to buy your popcorn and snacks. This will save lots of time and get you in the theater to get a really good seat.

Avoid opening weekend. Avoiding the opening weekend for a movie can also guarantee you a good seat at the movies. Opening weekend is the weekend that most people go out to see a movie. The crowd will be huge therefore it will be tougher to get a good seat. If you can wait even one weekend later, the crown will be much smaller and getting a good seat will be easy.

Avoid the 'rush' hours. Friday and Saturday's are the biggest days for movie theaters. If you go to a theater anywhere from 7:00-10:00 you are likely to see a theater packed. Try going to a movie during the week. Often if you go on a week day you can walk right into the theater without any wait at all. If you must go to a theater on a Friday or Saturday, try to make a matinee show and you are likely to avoid a large crowd.
