Apple IPhone Vs. Apple IPod: Revolutionising Your World
Three months after the launch of the iPhone, Apple launched its iPod Touch. The design might look similar, but these are two distinct devices that vary in their features, style and performance.
iPhone is an internet-enabled multimedia phone which is the first product of its kind from the Apple Inc. It looks similar to the iPod, but is actually a phone that comes with great communication features and impressive specifications. Apart from all the standard features and applications, the Apple iPhone allows call merging, call conferencing, caller ID, and integration with other cellular network features and iPhone functions. There is also the visual voicemail feature that lets you view a list of current voicemail messages on the screen itself without having to call into their voicemail.
Just like the fifth generation iPods that got introduced in 2005, the iPhone too can play videos, and also allows the suer to watch their favourite television and film shows. The music linbrary in the iPhone differes from that of the iPod. The font is larger, plus the sections too are more clearly defined. Moreover, iPhone can sort its media library by songs, albums, artists, videos, genres, playlists, composers, audiobooks, podcasts and compilations.
The headphones accompanying the iPhone are similar to those of the iPods, but also incorporate a microphone. Also, the built-in rechargeable battery is similar to the iPod. As in the iPods, the updates to the Apple iPhone operating system is provided through the iTunes.
Two exceptional devices from an exceptional company that has revolutionised the way people listened to music, and now it's the turn of the mobile industry!
