I curse your smile,
Your pretty teeth like dagger points
Sheathed in a petite pink mouth.
I damn your tongue,
Red and silken,
And the intoxicating words you let spill from it.

I want to set you on fire,
Burn your waxen wings,
And watch your feathers fall like angry cinders
On the gardens I have built for you.
When did you ever deserve to fly higher than me?

I wish to strangle you with your halo or your hands,
Blinding bright and tightly choking,
And I want you to stare with eyes wide open,
So you'll know it's me
Crushing the air from your pretty white throat.

And when you're lying beneath me,
Broken, burned and beautiful,
I'd like you to understand why I did this:
Not because you lied to me,
But because you lied to yourself.

A little to strong for me, but passionate none the less.
