Even though it was released in the summer of 2006, Pixar and Disney's Cars still remains popular among kids and merchandise related to the hit Disney movie continues to sell. With Christmas rolling right around the corner it is time to sort out the best Car merchandise from the fluff with this guide.

Disney/Pixar's Cars DVD: With all of the toys, nothing is better than the movie itself. This two-disc DVD features the movie, a couple of short movies, and even a music video by the band Rascal Flatts. It also had a couple of fun games for kids and is an enjoyable movie for the whole family.

Cars Lightning McQueen TV: If you have the Cars DVD, why not watch it on a Car themed TV. This thirteen inch TV is a great set for any playroom or bedroom and is designed to look like the star car of the movie, Owen Wilson's Lightning McQueen. When the screen is not in use, two eyes act as a screensaver and rotate around the screen. The TV also has a built in DVD player, so no need to hook up a lot of cords in the child's room.

Cars Mountain Challenge Play-set: Only available at Toys R Us, this huge play set is a downhill race through the mountain, just like a couple of scenes from the movie. The point of the play-set is to represent a shaky mountain scene and the ways the cars go down works well. The set only comes with one car, but your child is bound to have more in their collection.

Cars 5-Pack Set: If your child only wants to use Disney Cars toys on their play set, then you should buy the Cars 5-Pack set. In this set are all of the most popular cars from the movie including Mater and Lightning McQueen. These cars are just as good, if not better than Hot Wheels quality.

Cars Mega Mac Playtown: A minor character in Disney's Cars was the Mac truck that transported Lightning McQueen, but now he has his own toy. This is much more than a Mac truck though as the whole rig opens up to a full car play set, taken from scenes from the movie. Kids can reenact road paving, the dirt race, and other things in this impressive all-in-one toy.
