oprah just had show on last night where she talked once again how when people don't leave abusive relationships it's often b/c they aren't looking at the reality, they are looking at the dream they had for the marriage & that is what keeps them staying - like you say, in love w/the idea - but not in love w/what's really there - hmmmm - great food for thought.
