Chrysler LLC has announced that they sold 145,316 units during the month of October in 2007. This was an overall decrease for the company in units sold by nine percent when compared with October 2006. A large part of the decrease in sales can be tracked to the poor performance of the Jeep® brand, but even that brand had a strong performing vehicle. Chrysler LLC did have a very strong showing from its Town & Country line during the month of October in 2007 though. This information was provided in a recent press release from Chrysler, LLC.

During the month of October, the Jeep® brand experienced expected fleet reductions. These reductions contributed to a 21 percent drop in it's sales volume for October of 2007 when compared with October of 2006. Despite the overall drop in sales for the brand, the Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited had 9,354 units sold which was up eight percent when compared with October of 2006.

The strongest showing for Chrysler LLC in October 2007 as far as sales percentage increases in comparison to 2007 was from its Town and Country line. This line produced an increase in sales of 26 percent when compared with October of 2006. This was largely due to the success of their new model according to their press release.

The Town and Country line was not the only one to show an increase in sales though. The Dodge brand reported an overall increase in sales volume of 18 percent when compared with October of 2006. A large contributor to this volume was the Dodge Avenger which had 6,268 units sold in the month of October.

The Sebring Sedan and Sebring Convertible led the Chrysler brand of vehicles to a seven percent increase in sales volume in October when compared with October of 2006. The Sebring Sedan had a total of 5,015 units sold which was an 86 percent increase compared with October of 2006. Meanwhile, the Sebring Convertible had 1,856 units sold in October of 2007, which was an 837 percent increase over October of 2006.
