2008 Paint Color Palette: "Around the World" by Sherwin-Williams

Think of opulent, deep colors reminiscent of a baroque and ornate style. The bolder colors in this palette have influences from Latin America, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and From Russia, according to Sherwin-Williams.

Borscht - brown with just a hint of mauved beet

Ceremonial Gold - a warm golden hue

Cocoon - A warm green that would blend well with tree bark brown

Crabby Apple - A warm reddish brown that is a shade lighter than Borscht

Dynamo - A modern fuchsia

Feverish Pink - A super bright near fluorescent pink to be used in moderation, for narrow trim, for example

Majestic Purple - A very near indigo blue, very regal

Plum Brown - A deep purplish brown, the color of a freshly plucked ripened plum, if painted by a master

Red Cent - A warm penny color

Relic Bronze - A mustard-y yellow bronze, not the traditional metallic bronze

Tassel - A golden yellow

Tupelo Tree - Green

2008 Paint Color Palette: "Expand Your Horizons" by Sherwin-Williams

"Expand Your Horizons" by Sherwin-Williams is an effort to balance out the grays of technology that permeate our daily living spaces.

Aquarium - a bright, happy blue

Cayenne - An orange red, still popular from 2007

Iron Ore - A deep slate gray

Marquis Orange - A near-ripe tangelo color

Tatami Tan - Cafe au Lait with extra cafe

Wood Violet - Dusty violet

I was thinking of painting the living room this weekend. I'll have to take a trip to the Home Depot. These colors sound great!

They seem to be trying to reach those who like to stay home as well as people with a sense of adventure, just looking at the general theme :)
