Universal Studios Florida is one of the hottest theme parks in Orlando.  Located just miles from Walt Disney World, Universal Studios is easy to reach, and there's plenty to do and see.  I'll take you through some of Universal Studios' most spectacular attractions.

If you enjoy experiencing unique rollercoasters, make your first stop is at Revenge of the Mummy, a thrilling indoor rollercoaster that sends you up against fireballs, scarab beetles, and an army of warrior mummies.  The Mummy plunges you into total darkness at speeds of up to 45 mph.  You'll find Revenge of the Mummy in an area of Universal Studios themed after New York City.

Another exciting attraction is Universal Studios' Back to the Future, a virtual reality ride that sends you through time and space.  A motion simulator combines with a seven story high film screen and liquid nitrogen fog, giving you the feeling that you're really traveling through time with Marty McFly and Doc Brown.  Back to the Future is located at Universal Studios' World Expo.

Hop on a boat and watch a familiar great white shark pop out of the water to scare the hell out of you on Jaws.  This fantastic water ride has a three-ton, thirty-two foot shark made of steel and fiberglass with latex skin and urethane teeth moving towards you at realistic speeds of 20 feet per second.  Make sure you leave your chum back on shore.  Jaws can be found in Universal Studios' tiny New England fishing Village named Amity.

Universal Studios in Orlando also offers two live action simulations, Earthquake and Twister.  If you've experienced either of these firsthand, you can skip the attractions.  If you're interested in knowing what it feels like to experience an 8.3 earthquake, head over to Universal Studios' recreation of San Francisco.  If you want to feel what it's like to be a storm chaser, Twister can be found in New York City near Revenge of the Mummy.

Wow! Selling us Men in Black folks a little short on that one, aren't you? I work on the ride and absolutely love to ride it myself. I also see adults come through all the time who want to re-ride more desperately than their children. It's great fun, especially if you have a little bit of a competitive spirit :-D
