For those that like to write, you can write your own and save a little money. But either option you choose, you can get an ISBN and sell your books on Amazon.com, at your local book stores, community colleges and wherever you self-publish online. Think of the things that you can do. Think of how to tell someone in a step by step fashion. You'll be amazed at how long the list can become.

People love to read poetry. If you have a collection of poetry, you have one, two or even more instant eBooks. The material is already written for you.

A photo book is for all of you photography hobby people. Pick up the digital camera. Select a theme such as your yard. Take a snap shot. Clean it up. On one page put the photo. On the opposite page put a blurb about the photo. This can be a line of poetry, a description, or why it is an interesting photo.

If your family cooks and shares recipes you are sitting on a gold mine. People love new ways to make the same old food. Do you have a spin in making spaghetti sauce or even chili? What are some crazy drinks you've tried? Throw these all into a book and you'll be amazed at how quickly they will sell. If there are a lot of them, do several books based on the type of recipes such as kids, salads, poultry, pasta and so forth.
