The Best Western Thousand Oaks Inn is a 106 room hotel in Thousand Oaks, California. The hotel has three types of rooms.

Traditional Room: This room is their standard room which can come with one or two beds.

Executive Room: This room was designed for business travelers. It has a large work space area.

Suites: The hotel has four suites. The suites have two rooms (a bedroom and a separate living room area.) Three of the suites have a jacuzzi in the room. One does not.

What I liked about the hotel

The hotel is built like a square with a courtyard in the middle. The courtyard is beautiful. In the middle of the courtyard is a gazebo with a table and chairs inside. Their are also several benches around the courtyard. It is a relaxing environment with its' fountain and various flowers and plants to view.

The library is a cozy place to enjoy with a fireplace to keep you warm and a comfortable couch. The book selection is limited, but it is nice to have a few books to fill your time.

The rooms are nicely decorated. I stayed in the suite which was fairly large. The in-room Jacuzzis are a nice touch. I walked by the traditional rooms and they were decorated nicely and a fairly normal size as far as hotels go.

The location was nice. Close to the freeway and shopping.

What I hated about the hotel

My room had horrible plumbing issues. The sink and bathtub drained extremely slow. I could not get through a whole shower without fear of the tub overflowing. During my stay, the plumbing issue was never resolved.
