Tropical World is located just outside of the Leeds city centre, making it possible for travelers to avoid any major city traffic. Nearby gardens, parks, and pedestrian footpaths make Tropical World an ideal location for visitors hoping to explore nature outside as well as inside. Parking is plentiful across the street from Tropical World, and it can also be reached easily via bus. Located in a small village, there are pubs within walking distance, and a cafe attached to Tropical World serves a delicious lunch or cup of tea.

Before Heading to Tropical World
Visitors with small children may want to leave the big stroller or pushchair behind. An umbrella stroller is the perfect size for exploring Tropical World, but a larger stroller or double stroller may be to big to maneuver once you get inside. Also, it can be quite warm inside the rainforest sections of Tropical World, even if the weather is chilly outside. So, be sure to dress in layers or you'll end up sweating and rushing through the exhibits instead of enjoying them.
