Can You Tell If You're Fat?

We all get tunnel vision at one point. We see and hear only what we want. If you have a high metabolism and workout everyday then the chances of you getting fat are slim to none. But what about us, the ones who don't have a high metabolism and get moderate exercise as in walking only. We are kidding ourselves aren't we? We don't see us getting big and we look in that mirror everyday, all day and just refuse to believe it. We go out to eat and order foods that are high in fat and low in self esteem, because frankly we don't know or don't care. Some of our friends might comment on it but normally won't say a thing. Is it maybe that when we were at that age and our body was at its best and our friends whose body was average, was jealous? Yes, they were jealous and now 20 years later and you're both aging and only you are gaining weight, they don't say anything. Yet their body remains the same, now why is that? I think that you had the perfect body before and you don't want to put all that effort into keeping it perfect now that you're older. But our friends who just didn't care how they looked then don't care now. They just know how to eat to keep their weight the same. If it's anything like how I used to eat which was raw vegetables or cooked vegetables, baked foods, no bread except with sandwiches, no milk except with cereal and that's 2% or skim. I'm lactose intolerant so I couldn't really drink milk anyway, but hardly no sweets and most definitely drink lots and lots of water. Some people just don't like water and I find that inconceivable. Water is the only thing on earth that sustains life. You could live a long time on water as opposed to food. Isn't that weird? I have a suggestion for those who don't like water. Drink koolaide or some derivative of that just so you can get the water content. Or alcohol which filled me up and I lost my appetite some of the time. I know that's not healthy but you drink in moderation just enough to kill the cravings for food.
