Al Gore 2008 President

Should He Jump into the Race?

November 2008, we will vote for the next president of the United States. Will Al Gore be 2008 president? Yes, I know he isn't in the running. Yet! I remember in 2000 I cast my vote for AL Gore. My family and I were watching CBS. It
was announced Al Gore was the next president of the United States. Then while we were cheering and happy that Al was the president, it was announced, oh sorry we made a boo-boo Gore did not win. I still can't get over that. He won the popular vote. He was announced the winner and then it was taken away.

I am not a big political know it all, and I will not pretend to be. I know who I like and who I trust to put this world of ours in better shape. I happened to be researching Hilary Clinton and what has been happening in her campaign to get to be the democratic runner. I stumbled upon information about Al Gore 2008 president. I spent a few hours last night reading about Al Gore. There is a 2008 Grassroots Draft Campaign at www.algore.og, supporters of Al Gore want him to run in the next election. There is a petition that supporters can sign trying to get AL Gore to get into the running.

I had made my mind up that I wanted Hilary Clinton to be the democrat in the running. However if Al Gore was to enter the race there is no doubt that my vote would be for Al Gore. I know many will not agree with me and I really don't care. Al Gore should have been the president in 2000. I still to this day think something funny went on with that election and nothing will change my belief in that fact. If Al Gore had of gotten his rightful win and became the president, the world as we know it today would be so much different. I am not saying 9-11 would not have happened, but we would have been after Bin Laden, not Saddamn and Bin Laden would have paid for 9-11 by now. He would not still be hiding in some cave.

Al Gore has a very huge support base to win him the presidency. He says he has no plans to run and I would not want to guilt anyone into running for president, because it is a very hard and dangerous position. But if anyone could win the presidency and change the world, it would be AL Gore.

Like the Bush family, it seems he is also involved with shady dealings with Dubai. The reason I would not vote for Hillary is her lack of compassion for Iraqi mothers who are seeing their innocent children and babies bombed, limbs gone and death. The war violated a UN Charter, making the US guilty of being global war criminals. She turned deaf ears on the Code Pink ladies (wives, mothers, sisters, daughters of 'our troops' and Iraqi females, as well as peaceniks) who begged for her help. We need a President with a heart, who is capable of diplomacy, not another warrior.

A friend and I were just discussing the election and he thinks voting for Gore was a mistake, because the vote got split and we ended up with you know who. I can not see Hillary as Pres, because it will be like a monarchy (Reagen/Bush, Bush, Clinton, Bush...). I also think it is a bad idea to have Bill as First Man in the White House. He pardoned more people for crimes than any other Pres, including family, friends and government employees. He got caught accepting "kickbacks" to pass gasoline additive regulations that would favor his friend's company profits.

It's far too late for Gore to run now. The primaries start in 8 weeks. Aside from the fact that Bush stole the 2000 election, I think the only reason it was close was because of Gore's awful choice of running mate. Lieberman, who has now shown the country what he really is, cost Al Gore the election (along with the Supreme Court).

I really haven't decided who I'm more for yet. I think each candidate has their faults and their good points, but I will definitely have a choice come election time. Great article!

Nice job Cindy. I too would support him in a year where I really don't trust anyone. Great article!
