If you are like me you always think about saving money. You know you should clip coupons but you just don’t do it. Or maybe you do it but then you forget your coupons and they end up expiring. Online coupons take the time out of finding and cutting out itsy bitsy “Save 50 cents” coupons. Using the internet as a source for you savings is an awesome way to get deals on what you need when you need it.

As I have said time and time again, before you begin to save big using the internet you need to take one precaution. Most of the best coupon companies will ask you to create a quick membership. The membership is 100% free but they use you email to spam you or send you coupons for stuff you don’t want. So create a totally free email account using gmail, yahoo or hotmail before you sign up for anything on the internet. This prevents your personal email from overflowing with garbage every day. And believe me when I say “overflowing”! I did not take this step and I was getting, on average, 25 or more emails for every company you can imagine for every product under the sun! And most of the time you can just scroll down to the bottom of the email and select “Take Me Off Your List”, but some of these companies are tricky and don’t offer this option. So take the extra 2 minutes and make a secondary email, it’s totally worth it.

Here’s some sources for savings and my opinions of them:

Cool Savings
Rating: ****
Offers coupons for Groceries, Baby Goods, Auto Accessories, Free Samples and More. BUT not all of the free samples are free! I only use this site for the excellent coupons. Savings are completely worth it but this company will spam you daily.

Coupon Cabin

This site was featured on USA Today. They have coupons for all kinds of stores like Target, Sears, Old Navy, etc.

Make sure you get coupon or deal sites not a spam site as mentioned above by the poster. Checkout http://www.Dealitem.com search engine, it crawls the best available coupons from all coupon & deal sites. The best part is you can view various coupon sites all at once. This site tracks all the coupons for you and brings up latest of all for you on top. You can search for desired Coupons and Deals across the board from Amazon, Buy, J&R, Frys, Overstock, Wal-Mart, etc. Also you can search the top/best deal across multiple popular categories like Plasma/LCD, Digital Camera, Computers, Laptops/Notebook, Monitor, DVD Player, MP3, Home Theater, GPS, Printer, Camcorder, PDA and Projector. All ths coupons sites under indexed by - www.DealItem.com (trust me it is better then Google). Best of all you can also set an alert for your coupon and get mail as soon as it is listed on any popular coupon site. Also you may win $25 gift certificate. Save on Coupons and get a Deal on it.

I like using MrDealFinder.com. They have a wider variety of coupons as well as the popular ones. Plus, they don't spam at all.

Centsible.net has the best online weekly grocery flyers page. They have coupons for online stores too and you don't need to sign up. I signed up at their forums, but they don't send enough email updates (once a month or so), I'm always afraid I'm missing something on the paid test drives. They're at www.centsible.net

MyShopSpace.com seems to have just about all the merchants I'm looking for plus a few I've never heard of. I like the layout too.

I second that on www.couponcowgirl.com. Plus this site has features that I haven't seen on other coupon sites. They have a cool "savings calculator" so you can figure out the best deal (% or $ off) for what you're buying. And it's sooo cute.

my favorite is CouponCowgirl.com. It's easy to use and organized pretty well. That's just my opinion. Thanks for the article

I found out the hard way on two sites....valpak and smartsource (I think they are both owned by the same company as the coupons are identical). What really got me was almost EVERY coupon had printed on it "do not double or triple". I wrote them and asked "what the hell is wrong with you people?"...Our grocery stores here told me that the double savings that they give is paid by the grocery store...so if you have a coupon for 50 cents, the store doubles it, but they only get the 50 cents from the manufacturer and the store eats the 50 cents. So why in the world would a site print on ALL it's coupons not to double or triple?

I like MyShopSpace.com. It's easy to use and not a lot of hard sell.

tes because they know Ebates customers will keep using Ebates and they have to keep paying commissions. Where as non-incentive coupon sites receive bigger discounts to promote as these customers will most likely go straight to the merchant for their next purchase and the merchant will not have to pay a commission to the affiliate. You want real coupon sites: Dealcatcher.com Jumpondeals.com Quicktoclick.com CouponMountain.com Savings-Center.com Flamingoworld.com
