Recently my attention was caught by a commercial for Olay Vitamins. This commercial boasted that their vitamin packages contained the correct nutritional supplements to improve the look of your skin, hair, and to fight the seven signs of aging. Being a fan of the other Oil of Olay products I thought that I would give their product a try, just to see if it could improve the health of my hair and skin. Olay vitamins can be found at a number of retailers including online health stores, department stores, and even many supermarkets. The price of this product is about $12 depending on where you purchase it.

The product that I purchased was the Olay Vitamins Total Effects 7X dietary supplement package for beautiful skin and wellness. It contained a thirty day supply of four different supplements. These supplements included a multivitamin, CoQ10, vitamin E, and alpha lipoic with green tea. Each day you take out one of the plastic bags containing a day’s supply of dietary supplements. All of the supplements are small and easy to swallow. The largest of the pills is the multivitamin, which is scored for splitting if you have trouble swallowing. The following ingredients are found in the multivitamin: vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, folic acid, vitamin B12, biotin, pantothenic acid, calcium, phosphorus, iodine, and magnesium. The CoQ10 contains the following ingredients: zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, chromium, molybdenum, chloride, and potassium. The vitamin E contains vitamin E. The final supplement in this package contains: boron, nickel, silicon, vanadium, alpha lipoic acid, coenzyme Q10, green tea leaf extract, and lutein. If you have allergies to any of these ingredients then you shouldn’t take this product. Also if you are on any medications you should consult with your doctor to make sure that this product won’t interact negatively with your medications.

Takeaways
  • Olay vitamins contain a 30 day supply of vitamins.
  • This product contains a multivitamin,
  • This product contains green tea.

I noticed that the products were made by Pharmavite; they make Nature Made; so you can buy the Nature Made products from the Olay packet individually: multi, CoQ10, vit E, alpha lipoic w/ green tea [glitch: the alpha lipoic might only be available as part of their diabetes packet]

I too, noticed a marked change in my skin and nails when using these vitamins. Now, the product is nowhere to be found... does anyone know is there another product or combination of products which have the same benefits? Thanks so much.

I have been having a hard time buying the Olay Total Effects vitamins for the last six months. A sure sign that something was amiss! I, too, found out that they have been discontinued. I have taken these for years and have noticed a difference in my hair and , espsecially, my nails! They need to be put back on the market, just as they were. Now I have to take the ingredients to my health foods store and pay three times as much for the same thing, if I can find it!! Not a happy Olay customer. I think I'll try other brands of face creams.

I love OLAY products! I am 40 years old and have a thyroid problem. I have a tendancy for dry skin and long thick, damaged hair and my weight is like a rollercoaster ride. I know i should take calcium as well. What would be the best vitamin for me? Help!
