Who is This Girl?: A Poem
Staring Back at me
In the reflection
Of My Small Bedroom Mirror
Who is This Girl?
With Hazel Eyes
And Dark Blond Hair
Cut to the length of her chin
Who is this Girl?
Who Looks so lonely
Who Feels So Empty
Who seems so completely lost
Who Is This Girl?
Tiny, Frail and Weak
So completely Innocent
Yet So Very Guilty
Who is This Girl?
Holding so Many Secrets
So Many Dreams
Behind This Mask She Wears
Who Is This Girl?
So Mysterious, and Secretive
Such A Strange Girl
Such A Loner
Who Is This Girl?
I keep Seeing In The Mirror
With Hazel Eyes
And Dark Blond Hair
Who Is This Girl?
What Is She Hiding?
What Secrets
Does She Hold?
Who Is This Girl?
So Timid, and withdrawn
Why Is She Alone?
Does She Want To Be?
Who is This Girl?
Why Does She so Often Cry?
Why Do her Eyes
So Often Fill With Tears?
Who Is This Girl?
I See Her Every Day
Yet Know Her
I Do Not
Who Is This Girl?
Do My Eyes Decieve me So?
How Can This Timid Child
Possibly Be Me??
