What are the holidays without a tour of holiday lights? Here are three of the best places in the Mesa area to see holiday lights. These events are free, and your entire family will enjoy them. They range from light parades, to religious holiday light displays. All are in or around the Mesa, Arizona, area.

APS Fiesta of Light
There's no comparison to the annual Fiesta of Light! Floats covered in holiday lights follow a parade route, rain or shine, in downtown Phoenix, close to Mesa. This year's theme is "Holiday Lights, Starry Nights."

Many local high schools have marching bands that put holiday lights on their instruments, while students march in the parade.

It's estimated that over 200,000 people will watch the Fiesta of Light holiday parade. People come from Mesa, Glendale, Scottsdale, and the entire Phoenix region to see this parade.You can watch the holiday parade free, from the street, or purchase tickets to sit in the bleachers for a better view.

The parade route runs south on Central to Camelback. Then it turns east to 7th Street, until it will turn south at Indian School Road. It's just a short drive from Mesa to see this awsome parade.

Glendale Glitters
What do you call it when a city hosts a holiday lighting festival with over 1.5 million lights, great food, arts and crafts activities, entertainment, and horse-drawn carriage rides, and has holiday events that take place every weekend for a month?
