I watch the View every day until "Hot Topics" is over. More happens in that first twenty minutes than in the rest of the show. Barbara Walters is an icon in the world of television journalism and her interviews are some of the most controversial. Barbara Walters interviewed Heather Mills on April 16th, 2007 and said she was impressed with her postive involvement in many good works. Afterwards Barbara got word that Ms. Mills told untruths. When Barbara went back to question her about the discrepancies in her interview, Heather got quite nasty. Ms. Walter came out publicly and told Paul he should have never married Heather Mills.

Today on "The View" Barbara Walters spoke out against Heather Mills saying that Sir Paul had very generoulsly married Ms. Mills without a pre-nuptual. She also said that when Heather Mills had been interviewd in April she was extremely rude to her staff. This public denouncement is very uncharacteristic of Barbara Walters and this alone gives credence to her statements. Even the gals sitting at the table with Barbara were really shocked at her statements. They did however agree with her that Heather Mills was a woman behaving badly.

It is quite amazing that a woman like Heather Mills landed Sir Paul, considering his many years with Linda McCarthey. Linda was beloved by her family, business associates, and her family. I imagine she is looking down on Paul and shaking her head on this one. The Melbourne Herald Sun just reported Stella McCartney has designed a necklace that sports one leg dangling from a chain. This is an obvious dig and the relationship between these two has been nothing but bitter and acrimonious.

Did You Know?
Heather Mills walks away with 25% of Sir Paul's fortune.

I was also disappointed in Paul for marrying such an obvious gold digger..but I suppose he had to live and learn!

Good info -- I was definitely a little surprised when Paul seemed to re-marry so soon after his wife's death.
