The Kuhn Rikon line of precision crafted kitchen products has been produced in Switzerland for over 60 years and they offer a 5 year warranty on their entire fine tool assortment. The Silicone products are a great way to ensure long life of the utensils and great care for your most expensive and precious Teflon and other coated pots, pans, cook and bake ware.

Silicone is all the rage and a great way to ensure you don't melt those utensils, trust me I have tried. Silicone is a food safe polymer material that withstands very high heats such as the stove, oven and barbeque. Coating metal like the tongs or wires of a whisk creates a rubber like surface on utensils that will not scratch coated surfaces like Teflon with normal use.
