Don't Allow Food To Burry You alive In Fat

I literally felt like I was buried alive in fat when I began to make the changes it takes to achieve weight loss. I was tipping the scales at nearly 500 pounds standing 5'3" tall. I was heavy all of my life except for a couple of years that I managed to get in real good shape. So I do know how it feels to be able to tuck my shirt in and not think about how bad I look. For me, I had to conclude that food was no longer my friend. I only put the food required for survival and good health in my mouth. Weight loss is not about magic pills or fad diets. Weight loss is about a complete lifestyle change for the rest of your life. Healthy eating, exercise, and a positive outlook on life will not only promote weight loss, and good health, but happiness that we all long for in our day to day lives.

Healthy eating and weight loss go hand in hand. The key here is that we all don't require the same combinations of food. There are some common qualities like low fat, high fiber, and low sodium that are generally a good rule of thumb. Check with your doctor to see if they have any recommendations for you individually. Ultimately you ,you will come up with the final plan that you can live with. Weight loss is seen as difficult and most of us fail several times.

Failure enables us to know what doesn't work for us. Smoking is hard to quit as well but plenty of folks kick the habit. Remember it is mind over matter. Believe in yourself and just do it! Stop saying you will get to it tomorrow. You can do it, and if you can't walk far then do what you can and try to do a little more tomorrow. Keep pushing yourself and don't be a baby. If the doctor says you are healthy enough to exercise then get to it. I just had to get up off the couch and move. You will experience results almost immediately and weight loss is inspired by positive results a great deal. This inspiration contributes to a positive outlook as well.
