Welcome back to Clay Bennett's favorite internet column. This is Zac's Backs. The winning ways continued for yours truly as The Kid went 9-4. In reality this is a modest week for anybody who picks NFL games but, hey, at least it was a winning record. Got to stay positive, dear readers. This week is a big football week for me as a fan as both my Browns and my Giants will be playing for a first place tie in their divisions. Do I have the guts to go with my teams? Find out as my week 10 NFL picks begin right now. Minnesota at Green Bay
Minnesota has a dynamic running game (Adrian Peterson) but absolutely no ability to move the ball through the air. Brett Favre is playing like a 30-year old again (har har) but is averaging about 72 yards rushing per game. Ouch. I may not believe that the Packers can win the NFC this season but there is no question that the Packers are a better overall team than the Vikings are. Besides, Green Bay's defense is solid enough to focus on Minnesota's running game and not have to worry about being killed by the long ball.
Winner: Green Bay
Jacksonville at Tennessee
How many more times can Jacksonville prove that they aren't anything special? If the blowout loss to the Colts didn't convince you maybe last week's performance against the Saints did the trick. Besides, it's never a good sign when you have players getting arrested. Just ask Cincy.
Now I'm not all suggesting that Tennessee is some great football team. The Titans are better than the Jags, though, especially at home. Look for Jacksonville's slide to continue.
Winner: Tennessee
Denver at Kansas City
I told you all. I told you that LJ was going to get injured soon. Sure, predicting that is like guessing the sun will rise in the east tomorrow morning but still...
Denver is a terrible football team. There is no questioning that. I just can't like the Chiefs without Johnson, though. Even at home.
Winner: Denver
Buffalo at Miami
Do the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers all get together and finish a case of PBR when an NFL team wins a game, thus ensuring that the Bucs will remain the only team in NFL history to finish a season without a win? Just curious.
Winner: Buffalo
