Ultimate Guide to Black Friday Sales Secrets

Best Websites for The Day After Thanksgiving Ads

Finding timely, reliable Black Friday ads online can be almost as unnerving as the electronics section in Wal-Mart on this deal lovers day. Rumors abound, bogus Black Friday ads take flight, and locating ads is time-consuming.

Additionally, some shopping portals may choose retailers based on limited, even questionable, criteria, that is for financial gain. Albeit, this is more likely to occur for Cyber Monday sales. Often though, several shopping sites carry the same limited number of vendors.

This year, try these Black Friday sales web sites to arm you with purchase power, find local sales and lower shopping stress.

ShopLocal.com maintains a dedicated Black Friday ads section containing deals from both popular local and national retailers. Among these include favorites such as Kohl's, Circuit City, Best Buy, Home Depot, Hallmark, Zales, Sears, JCPenny's and more.

Blackfriday.gottadeal.com boasts an excellent source for Black Friday ads and year-around deals. Knowledge is power and the forum is where it's at for people in the Black Friday know. The web site itself is dedicated to handful of stores, including a top 10 list for the likes of Costco, Walgreens, Ace Hardware, Old Navy, and f.y.e.

BFads.net is a Black Friday maniac's dream with mobile phone updates and hot off the press forum posts, such as "Wal-Mart's Secret Friday Sale" referenced from a NY Times article. Store selection is rather limited but appears to be expanding readily.

Note, however, that a Black Friday sale is not always a good deal or the best price. (Check out these shopping comparison web sites in advance to be certain.)

Kaye: Good thing big department stores are not the only place to shop on Black Friday. One's miliage will vary via phone when obtaining Black Friday sales secrets, depending on the retailer and when you call, the earlier in the pre-season, the better.

Great article! I know I read this before, but I don't see a comment from me, so it must not have gone through. Anyhow, I think Cyber Monday is more my style, but I may hit Kohl's for Black Friday because they usually have really good deals on the kids clothing and all the stuff we get from there usually lasts a while. :-)

I would only venture out on Black Friday if I posessed a modern armored tank and combat fatigues;) I don't, so I won't. But Cyber Monday is sounding better and better. *****

I worked for years as at a large department store and I can assure you that calling is a waste of time! You are talking to a person not on the floor, who's only job is to direct calls -they have no inside knowledge. They are also trained NOT t tell people over the pone of sales, mark downs etc. so the first ones to get them are their shoppers, not people just calling around.
