Car insurance covers are like health insurance policies for the average driver.

Property damage liability - it covers the damage that the car might to do another person's property

Collision - it covers the damages to the car, which may arise in case of collision or an accident with another car

Uninsured motorist - it covers the damages from accidents that involve hit and run cases or those who are uninsured drivers.
