Product Description
The box of Tylenol Cold Head Congestion Daytime Caplets I purchased at the local Kroger store cost about five bucks. The box contains 24 caplets. Since the recommended dosage for adults and children over twelve is two caplets, that means there are 12 doses in a box. The doses are taken four hours apart. That gives you an idea of how long one box will last you.
This product is a Pain Reliever, Cough Suppressant, and Nasal Decongestant. Its three active ingredients are: Acetaminophen (325 mg), Dextromethorphan HBr (10 mg) and Phenylephrine HCl (5 mg).
Since this is Tylenol's "Daytime" formula, it doesn't make you drowsy.
Of course, just like most of the over-the-counter cold medications, there are a list of warnings on the box about who can't take this product: people with Diabetes, Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure, et cetera. Pretty standard warnings.
Test Results
Tylenol Cold Head Congestion Daytime Caplets do what they're supposed to do. They open your sinuses and make it easier to breathe. They also help quiet annoying coughs, and they ease muscle aches and pains. After taking this medication for several days, I was pleased to find that I never had that "drugged up" feeling. So, all in all, I would highly recommend Tylenol Cold Head Congestion Daytime Caplets. This product is all "pros" and no "cons"!
