Bill Richardson, Joe Biden, Jack Kemp, Barry Mcaffrey Assist in New Hampshire Impact '08 Campaign

Saint Anslem's College hosted some presidential candidates for the launch of Impact 08, a campaign which calls for greater efforts in "non-military tools for global engagement" according to a press release by U.S. Global Leadership Campaign on November 8th in Manchester, New Hampshire. The release names Candidates Bill Richardson and Joe Biden as well as Jack Kemp and Barry Mcaffrey as four political faces who showed up in Manchester for the colleges event entitled "Impact 08 Impact '08 in New Hampshire: Building a Better, Safer World at Saint Anselm College."

The campaign is growing around the nation, with recent support in New Hampshire from many professionals and leaders from different fields within and outside of politics. The campaign appeals to many who believe that new strategies must be enacted towards the U.S global image and communication, as well as more effort put into diplomacy. The campaign is being heralded as a call to the President to be aware of this growing demand for a new approach to foreign policy on all fronts, but perhaps even more so a message to potential presidents in 08.

Kemp, a former vice presidential candidate himself is quoted in the release as saying "The next President needs a foreign policy which demonstrates American strength on all fronts - economic, diplomatic and military." This is a message in a political environment that has been famously polarized, having been endorsed by 30 leaders, republican and democrat.
