I can see a future bleak,
Children fighting the mean streets.
Gestapo and the SS Elite
Government's willful deceit.
Fascist Americans scream:
"Against us. Against our dream."
The Red Scare haunts the peace
As nonviolent protestors face police
Brutality in the form of mace, tazers
Guns loaded with guiding lasers.
As Facism spreads like disease.
Citizens chant:
"No Justice. No peace."
Can you see the future?
The end of a great culture.
Fall of Ancient Rome,
The last Babylonians made it home.
Hitler's Germany across the water
"Mein Kampf," screamed the Fürher.
The tale's already been told,
Of genocide country wide in days of old.
Ford and IBM, two American companies
Proof of corporate misdeeds
Do they understand the sins?
IBM soldiers sing of the "man of men."
I can see the future bleak,
As history itself repeats.

It's scary to think that some day soon I wont be able to stand on a street corner and exercise my freedom of speach or any other freedom for that matter. Wake up America cuz that day is coming in our lifetime.

Scary. Something jumped out at me the other day~the House UnAmerican Activities Committee which is going back a few decades and I was thinking how the Constitution was written to ensure we were free from a gestapho like government, yet here we are.
