"30 Reasons Girls Should Call it a Night" is the Hot Facebook Group

Imagine an online collection of photos of college girls passed on a dance floor or throwing up in a toilet. Medical emergencies? No. These girls are just drunk and featured on "30 Reasons Girls Should Call it a Night," a group on Facebook, a popular social networking site.

Many Facebook fans are flocking to join this growing group which has more than 4,800 photos and more than 160,000 members. So what's the appeal?

Truth is funnier than fiction. These photos are taken by real people in real situations that are often funnier than anything one would see in a movie. The drunken girls in the photos can be seen peeing in their pants, making out with other girls or just passed out for the night with beer bottle in hand.

There is no shame. So what if a girl's employer see her in a drunken lip lock with her coworker during happy hour? She'll be among good company as this group glorifies drunken behavior. Some of the comments on the group site reflect the amusement.

"This group is way too funny," posted Rodney Rumford of Silicon Valley.

"Hahaha this has to be THE best group ever! And here I was, thinking I was the only crazy girl in the world," wrote Jessica Carroll of Kitchener, Ontario.

It has hit mainstream media. As the group continues to grow since its inception last fall, mainstream outlets such as Fox news have picked up on this hot group. As it gains popularity membership numbers keep climbing. Some of the members post pictures, others make comment and other just join out of curiosity.

It's somewhat educational. The group does provide some information for those that need to know the 30 Reasons Girls Should Call it a Night. Among the reasons are: "Your slurring your words so bad, that nobody can understand what your saying and then when they say what, you can't even remember what you were talking about." and "Your make-up is smeared all over your face and somehow you have still managed to make out with 5 different guys. very classy." and "One minute you're strutting your stuff, the next minute you're rolling on the ground, and you can't seem to remember the transition."
