The beginning of the holiday season means many things to different families. A sense of nostalgia and excitement often begins to fill the air as children and adults realize it's just about that time again to visit the local attractions that make the Christmas season personal and unique to each family. Visiting Under The Mistletoe is one Christmas tradition that my family looks forward to each and every year. Under The Mistletoe is located at 511 North Bay Avenue in Beach Haven, New Jersey.

My family and I stumbled upon Under The Mistletoe by accident one Christmas season about five years ago. Parents with toddlers know that sometimes you just need to get everyone in the car and take off for an outing when the crankiness of being stuck inside the house on a cold day becomes too much for everyone. Long Beach Island is a tourist area that attracts thousands of vacationers during the summer. The locals of this area know to avoid the area at all costs during the summer unless it is absolutely necessary because the traffic is unbearable. In the Fall and Winter, however, it can be quite the pleasant visit to be able to drive along the coast and check out shops and eateries that it is impossible to get near during the summer tourist season. We spotted Under The Mistletoe and the festive Christmas decorations drew us in.

Sounds like a nice tradition. My husband and I are talking about going to Frankemuth MI. It's a town that looks like an old German village, and they have the largest Christmas store in the U.S. Excellent work.
