Do you believe in ghosts? Apparitions and paranormal activity is reported every day in every corner of the world; here are the stories of eight locations in New Hampshire that have had their share of the unexplained.

Belknap County, Laconia, New Hampshire

In the former streetcar factory, many have witnessed phantom footsteps, disembodied voices or coughing sounds, doors opening and closing on their own and ringing telephones that, when answered, only had static on the line.

Hillsborough County, Manchester, New Hampshire

In Hesser College, many students and staff members have witnessed a phantom ball bouncing on the third floor and then the ball quickly vanishes. Also reported on this floor are sightings of a small male apparition. On the fifth floor, many have reported hearing the sounds of a woman in heels walking the corridors; however, the hallway floors are carpeted.

Hillsborough County, Nashua, New Hampshire

In the Gilson Road Cemetery, many have claimed to see misty, human-shaped apparitions roaming about the gravestones or they have heard the sounds of people whispering or talking when no one was there.

Merrimack County, Henniker, New Hampshire

In the house of "Ocean Born Mary," many have said that they have seen the apparition of a woman who appeared to be about six feet tall with red flowing hair. This entity has been spotted on horseback, walking around the estate or crossing a road nearby.

Rockingham County, Portsmouth, New Hampshire

In the Chase Home, residents and neighbors have claimed to hear a phantom girl screaming, disembodied footsteps or running in the hallways and voices. Lights go on and off on their own here and doors are known to open, close, lock or unlock without any help from the living.

Strafford County, Durham, New Hampshire

obviosly this chick linsey lives happily in her box probably an atheist. us pagans know better esp those who have experienced situations that even that D. Bag couldnt explain and would prob. have loss of bodily functions if she ever experienced things i have. and how she can sit there and come to the site which talks about stuff she doesnt believe shows she has no life. let me state that ghosts are real too many people have had experiences and proven facts, that even lil miss unbeliever would have to say yea well that cant be explained it must be real, for it to be some collosal joke. may she buy a house that becomes active and have her own unexplained experience. and when it does happen kick yourself in the butt and feel stupid. so i say to her enjoy your ignorance.
