Marie Osmond may be forty-eight years old, but she's still hot. Born Olive Marie Osmond on October 13, 1959, Marie has been in the public spotlight for more than forty years. She joined Dancing with the Stars in September of 2007. Marie's father, George Osmond, died aged 90 on November 6, 2007, causing Marie to miss one live episode. She plans to continue with the competition, and will join the Dancing with the Stars tour, which will begin in Seattle on December 18.

Marie Osmond fainted on screen on Dancing with the Stars on October 23, 2007. She blamed allergies and poor air quality for the fainting spell.

Marie Osmond's debut album Paper Roses hit number 1 on the charts when she was only thirteen years old. The album was more popular on the country charts than the popular. The Donny & Marie Show, a weekly television show which she hosted with her brother appeared from 1976 to 1981. She cofounded Children's Miracle Network with actor John Schneider. Marie has eight children, and has been married to Steve Craig from 1982 to 1985, and to Brian Blosil since 1986. In April of 2007 it was announced that Marie would be divorcing Brian Blosil.

In 1991 Marie launched her line of "Marie Osmond Fine Porcelain Collector Dolls" which is now QVC's top selling line of dolls. She began sculpting some of the dolls herself in 1993, and has nominated for the Dolls of Excellence award three times. Marie purchased the company in 2001 with husband Brian Blosil, renaming the company "Marian." The dolls can be purchased online from QVC and other merchants.

The Osmonds 50th Anniversary Tour kicks off in Glasgow in May of 2008 and will tour several other cities in Great Britain.

Together with Oprah Winfrey, the Osmonds taped a special tribute to their father. The Osmond patriarch had originally planned to be part of the special program. The show will air on Friday, November 9, 2007.
