This article I will tell you how you can easily create a swirled Christmas ball ornament. The swirled ball Christmas ornament can be given as a gift or for you to hang on your Christmas tree. This craft is very simple to make and the overall costs are very minimal. The whole process for making the swirled ball Christmas ornament can be very lengthy due to the fact of waiting for the paint to dry.

The swirled ball Christmas ornament is a nice way for you to make a special gift for that someone that is hard to buy for. You can easily change shapes, colors and decorations of each of your swirled ball Christmas ornament so that each person gets a unique gift from you.

The following things you will need to have in order to complete the swirled ball Christmas ornament: Clear glass ornament balls ( you can use round, oblong, basically any shape or variety of shapes that you wish as long as they are clear glass ornaments), craft paint ( this can be found in any craft department of most stores, any color scheme that you choose, but I would really recommend using white with the other colors you choose), old bucket or pan (this will not be usable again after this craft), empty egg carton (you may need more than one, depending on how many swirled ball Christmas ornaments you will be making), and ornament hooks for your swirled Christmas balls, optional * old empty yogurt containers to catch the paint, craft glue, glitter, or paint markers to decorate the outside of the glass ornaments.

Once you have gathered the necessary and needed items from above proceed on to the Set Up.

Set Up: Open up your box or boxes of your choice of clear glass ornaments and set them aside. Arrange your color scheme for your paints.
