This two-day tournament is open to the public with a $500 initial buy-in that guarantees players $15,000 in chips to begin the initial play. Players knocked out during the first four rounds of tournament play will have one opportunity to buy back in for a $200 re-buy, garnering themselves $7,500 in chips. Though $100,000 is the guaranteed purse, the potential for that amount to increase to $210,000 depends on the total number of players. Players can register for the tournament online at www.winrivercasino.com or by calling 1-800-280-UWIN.

The tournament represents another exciting and high-profile event from Win-River Casino. The Casino recently announced a $90 million expansion plan, which includes a new ten-story, 175-room hotel, expanded gaming area, a five-story parking garage, a new 2,000-seat multipurpose events center, new and expanded restaurant offerings, a spa, and more.

Win-River Casino is owned and operated by the Redding Rancheria, a federally recognized Indian tribe whose members are of the Pit River, Wintu and Yana decent. The Redding Rancheria operates the Win-River Casino, Redding Rancheria Indian Health, Redding Rancheria Headstart, Win-River Mini-Mart, and the Hilton Garden Inn.
