Not Knowin, I'd Be Afraid to Say, Humorous Poem
A Humorous Poem Abut Being Different
I met an unusual manA philosopher in his own way
If you asked his opinion he'd reply
"Not knowin' I'd be afraid to say."
I only talked to him briefly
then he had to his leave
But I'm sure there's more to him
than my eyes did perceive.
His perception was very keen
Much wisdom came from his mind
And meeting this incredibly man
Truly took very little time.
It was truly an experience of sorts
one I'll not easily forget
But if I had with no regret.
He appearance wasn't unusual
Unless you noticed his eyes
If you looked at him quite closely
Your curiosity would arise.
He had one eye lash of brown
The other one was whitish gray
If you asked him why, he would answer
"Not knowin' I'd be afraid to say."
Please don't get the wrong idea
He was a very positive man
He just found it more congenial
Not to take a provocative stand.
He chose to remain neutral
Because he already knew
Arguing won't solve problems
Of change someone's point of view.
