Explanation of the product:
The mints come in a round silver tin. There is a blue circle on the top of the tin that says "York mints" and the word "York" is written in the traditional way it is seen for the brand. There are also mint leaves in silver to the sides of the words. There is a description of the mints underneath this logo.

The nutrition facts and ingredients are printed on the bottom of the tin.

What the product promises:
It says that these are "Indulgent mints dipped in dark chocolate with a mint shell." Other than that, there are no promises about the product.

What the product offers:
The mints come in a silver tin that stays closed, but easily opens when the top is pulled off of the bottom. There are 1.35 ounces of mints in a tin.

When the tin is opened, it looks like there are small white pebbles laying in the bottom of the container. However, it smells like chocolate mint.

The outside are a crunchy mint flavored coating. Inside that, there is dark chocolate. Then, in the middle, there is more mint. They are just as the product explains them.

The mint and chocolate flavors combine very well to give a good chocolate and mint flavor.

It is easy to tip the tin so the mints fall, but that happens with any product in a tin.

Is it worth it?
As long as a single tin does not cost more than $2, it is worth it to buy this product. It may be okay to go up to $3, but it is not advised to buy them at this price after the first time. After the first time the tin is bought, it can be filled with other candies. Buying more than one of these is only advised if a tin is being given to another person or if storage for coins or other edibles is needed.

Comments:
The tin is nice as it allows for consumers to keep the tin of the mints in a purse, belly bag, or a backpack and they will not melt all over the place. A serving is only three of the small mints, and they can be quite "addictive," so it can be hard to stop eating them. The tin is also a nice size so small adult hands can easily hold it and so can larger adult hands. It is also safe that infants play with the tin as there are no little parts to the tin itself.
