Wounded creature cannot feature rescue

scooped up in the Maker's hands.

Cuddled, huddled, careful nuzzled,

hear his beating chest?

Wounds are tended; heart is mended

by the Father's care.

Healed by balm, and calm, and warm love

soul was fractured but no more.

The balm has soothed, smoothed and removed

all the remnants of the wounds.

No more fear, or tears, or smears

He will never leave your side.

He is able, stable, ever faithful

always there at hand.

I love this poem...This makes me feel like I am wrapped up in his arms. Please keep my family in your prayers, my granny is very sick.

All of us who have been rescued relate to this and find the thoughts precious.

This brought to mind the "perfect peace" mentioned in Isaiah. Beautiful.
