While looking for a quick dinner meal in the grocery store I found Simply Asia Spring Vegetable Noodle Soup Bowl. As a fan of noodles and ramen noodles particularly I decided to try this brand of convenient noodles.

The 6.1 ounce Simply Asia Spring Vegetable Noodle Soup Bowl is pre-cooked Asian noodles with tender vegetables in a traditional vegetable broth. The main draw is that it is easy to prepare and ready within three minutes.

The first thing I noticed was that the packaging for the Simply Asia Spring Vegetable Noodle Soup Bowl was attractive. The noodles looked delicious as well as the broth. When I prepared my bowl, the noodles looked good although the meal didn't include the special garnishing shown on the package. The spring vegetable bowl includes pre-cooked noodles, a vegetable pack and a vegetable broth pack.

It is easy to prepare the Simple Asia Spring Vegetable Noodle Soup Bowl. To prepare the dish, remove the pre-cooked noodles from its package. Then pour the vegetable and soup packets into the bowl. Add 6 ounces of water to the bowl to the filling line. Cover the bowl loosely with the lid provided. Heat the bowl in the microwave on high for two minutes. Depending on your microwave you may have to heat the bowl longer than two minutes. After heating stir the noodles and soup.

As far as the taste the noodles are thick and have a hint of sweet taste. The noodles made for an interesting combination with the vegetables and vegetable broth. The noodles were thicker than ramen noodles, but were also softer, which I like. There is no need to worry if the noodles will come out too crunchy or too gummy.

Each Simply Asia Spring Vegetable Noodle Soup Bowl is 420 calories, 25 calories from fat. The fat content is low at 2.4 grams. There is no saturated fat or trans fat. One great nutritional fact is that there's no cholesterol. The downsides are each bowl is 84 grams of fat and 1040 mg of sodium. There are 11 grams of protein.

Depending on the store, Simply Asia noodle soup bowl costs about $3.50. Other varieties include Szechwan Hot & Sour, Sesame Chicken and Miso Tofu.

Great review. It's just a pity the sodium content is so high. Sophie
