Indulge, by Nancy Warren is number 275 in the Blaze imprint and was released in September 2006. I think I've read an earlier one in the booty call series, or one very similar to this idea, but I'd have to go back through my collection of Blaze novels in order to find out. However this one was well worth the read and I'm glad I didn't just put it aside with the feeling that I'd read it before.

Mercedes Estevez owns a spa and takes part in the booty call. An all up for grabs pick a business card out of the glass boot and go out with the guy on the card. Each man represented by a card has been placed there by a current or former member of the booty call club. It's not that they aren't good men, just that they weren't right for the woman who put the card in the boot. And when Mercedes pulls out a card she recognizes it right away. It's a card she put in there in the first place.

But what was the harm in giving J. D. McClary a second shot?

Fabulous in bed, the words Mercedes wrote on the back of the card, summed up John Dennis' thoughts about Mercedes all too well. They'd shared a fling that had left him gasping for breath, but that was the problem. Instead of getting to know each other and enjoying the slow dating process, they'd stumbled into bed before they'd even been aware of what was going on between them. Now he was faced with the chance of a second time around with her.

Fine, he could do this. But with a whole new set of rules. Dates and no sex. But just how long could he keep that up when just looking at her turned him into a walking hard on?

The problem between Mercedes and Dennis were simple. Neither of them had planned for anything more than a fling, but it was all too easy for them to care about each other. And for Dennis it's more than just a case of enjoying the sex and caring about her. It takes this second time around for him to realize he's in love with Mercedes. But can they find a way to balance their lives, and be together?
