My weekend always involves a movie. A good night is one that involves a comfortable viewing experience. I have perfected my own viewing experience at my home. Everything is perfectly set up for myself. I am able to relax, grab any food, and watch my movie on surround sound. This is why I do not go out to the movie theater that often. I have had my good and bad experiences at them. There is one movie theater that I have not been to in a long time. This is my review of Regal Cinemas at the Berkshire Mall.

Regal Cinemas have been at the Berkshire Mall since the mall first opened. That would make the movie theater nearly twenty years old. The last time I had gone to this particular theater was nearly six years ago. Their seats were still that of the old movie style. I am a bigger man and look for comfort as I watch a movie. The seats were far to stiff and tight to sit in. You were always guaranteed to leave with a stiff back and neck at the end of the movie. I was defiantly not looking forward to putting up with that again.

I noticed that you could actually purchase your tickets at a machine located next to the box office table. This was a great asset because the line was awfully long and moving very slow. I was able to use my debit card to purchase my tickets and enter the movie theater. My curiosity drove me to see how much it would cost me to buy a large soda. Sadly, the prices were indeed like any other movie theater. I was forced to shell out $5.50 for a large drink that only costs .15 cents to make. This sounds like an outrageous price, but nothing different from any other movie theater.

My movie of choice was American Gangster. Being a newer movie, it was being featured in one of the first theaters. My guest and I entered into the movie theater to a pleasant surprise. The movie screen was much larger than it used to be. I remembered when the screen was a good quarter smaller than the competition. The seats were also surprising!!! I found them to be larger and much more comfy.
