A very nice friend of mine who happens to be an Arbonne consultant, sent some samples to me last week. I have tried a few of these products and would like to pass on my opinion. The products are a bit expensive, but they say you get what you pay for. The first product I tried was the NutriMinC RE9 REfresh Foaming Body Wash. The NutriMinC RE9 line is their anti-aging skincare line. The catalogue says "Botanically-based formulas support the special skin care needs of both men and women. From face and body care to sun protection, these REsults-oriented formulas help firm the appearance of the skin's collagen and elastin, while smoothing and brightening skin for a healthy, younger-looking appearance. Vitamin C is known to firm and transform skin with new resilience. Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, a biologically-active form of Vitamin C, provides Vitamin C to the body for collagen, elastin and ground substance (the strength and elasticity of the skin) production."
As for the Refresh Foaming Body wash, the catalogue describes it as "You'll be looking and feeling fine with the benefits of RE9, thanks to this advanced body wash. It includes Nanosphere Technology to deliver beneficial ingredients to clean skin and leave it softer and younger-looking." It is for all skin types.
When I opened the sample, I noticed first the smell. It wasn't an overpowering perfume but a pleasant orange blossom scent. It smelled like natural ingredients. The creamy texture was nice and a small amount created more than enough lather to have a pleasant shower. It cleaned quite well and didn't irritate my skin. I have very sensitive skin so this is a big issue for me.
After my shower, I noticed that I could no longer smell the orange blossom scent on my skin. I do like to have a bit of scent left after shower gel, but my skin did smell and feel clean. About an hour later, I did notice that my skin did feel softer than before and I had not used any body lotion. That was a definite plus.
