Free Concert to Feature Sheri Jones-Moffett, Orlando, Florida

On November 18, Sheri Jones-Moffett, a well-known gospel singer will be giving a free concert at the Holiday Inn Select in Orlando, Florida.

Sheri Jones-Moffett is a well-known gospel singer who has been part of many successful groups as well as the duo known as Ted and Sheri. Before Sheri Jones-Moffett teamed with Ted Winn in a duo, she performed with The Voices of Binghampton choir. Later, she was recruited by Donald Lawrence to sing in the Tri-City Singers group.

Sheri Jones-Moffett appears on several albums including the album Finale by the Tri-City Singers and the albums Healing Starts Right There and Celebrate, which she produced with Ted Winn. She has also won two Stellar Awards with Ted Winn: Best Contemporary Group/Duo of the Year and Best Group/Duo of the Year.

Jones-Moffett has also worked with Donnie McClurkin, Kim Burell, and Kurt Karr, all of which are among the top gospel singers in the gospel music world.

Jones remains a member of the Tri-City Singers. In fact, in March of this year, she toured with the group on their Finale Tour, which featured the #1 hit song, "Encourage Yourself." Donald Lawrence has also produced some of the other most well-known and loved gospel artists, such as Mary J. Blige, Rosemary Lewis, Kelly Price, and Donnie McClurkin.

Jones will debut her first solo album in 2008.

The Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church is sponsoring this concert. They are currently meeting in the Holiday Inn Select while their church undergoes renovation.

According to the Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church's mission statement, the church aims to help those in need, whether that is providing the hungry with food, counseling to those who are struggling with mental health issues, retirement planning, housing assistance, marriage counseling, drug and alcohol recovery programs, teaching people how to manage their finances, daycare services, and/or employment assistance programs.
