In this tutorial I will show you how to use the page curl effect in Photopaint Studio. You can adjust the page curl many different ways. The page curl is a very popular effect to use on photos. Most image editing
programs have the page curl effect. Some programs allow you to adjust the curl more than others. Open your Photopaint Studio program and we will get started.
The first step to the page curl is creating a new document to work on. Go to the top of your window and click File > New. When the new window opens, you will need to enter a size for your new document. You can create the new document 400 pixels by 400 pixels. Select the background color that you want. Click OK to create the new document.
Next, you will need to open the photo that you want to curl the corner of. Go to the top of your window and click File > Open. When the window opens, locate the photo that you want to open. Click the photo and click the Open button. The photo will open in your Photopaint Studio window.
Now we will open the options box for curling the corner of the photo. Go to the top of your window and click Filter > Artistic > Page Curl. This will open your page curl options. The first section of the box is the Parameters. In this section you can change the opacity, ratio, angle, and size. The opacity is the darkness of the curl. The Ratio is how far up the corner will curl. The size is the actual size of the curl and the angle is which way the corner will curl. You can adjust these options by moving the bars. If you want a shade under the curl, tick the Shade Under Curl field in this section.
The next section is the Curl Shading Color section. This is where you will select the color of the shade behind the curl. You have three options. You can use the foreground color, the background color, or a pattern. Tick the field next to the one that you want to use. You will see the preview of it in the window on the left.
The next section is the Orientation section. This is where you select which way you want your curl to go. You can select the vertical field if you want the curl to curl vertically or you can select the horizontal field if you want your curl to curl horizontally. Tick the field of your choice.
