Survivor: China : My Predictions on Who Will Win

Having never missed a Survivor episode since its inception, I can say that the show keeps me guessing from week to week concerning who might win final immunity.

I have to say that this year there are some strong candidates who stand a very good chance of making it to the top three. Some are quietly going along, totally flying under the radar, making them more dangerous than the rest. Others are physically strong and present a threat because of their strength. The most dangerous of them all is James - the one I predict will make it to the top two spots.

Who will outwit-outlast-outplay? Who will Win?

Because the team didn't play wisely in a recent episode (they should have gotten rid of James), James stands the best chance of making it to the top two. He will have to carefully weigh when to use the two immunity idols that are currently in his possession.

I doubt James will attend tribal council without an idol next time. After a recent Survivor episode where James had a close call on being snuffed out of the game, he will undoubtedly feel vulnerable now. His teammates might take advantage of that just so they can get him to play the idols. The team gave away their strategy at a recent Survivor tribal council when they almost blindsided him, but failed in my opinion, as they got rid of Jean-Robert instead of James.

Personally, I think James is the strongest player. He works hard at camp and during competitions and plays the Survivor game with good strategy. Still, his teammates see him as a big physical threat, so they may keep trying to get rid of him. In my opinion, he deserves to win, but my gut tells me he probably won't.

Sometimes the winner of Survivor is the one you least suspect as a threat - the quiet participant who doesn't make waves, can provide swing votes, and who strategizes with the group that best serves them. Yes, they can be loyal up to a point. In the end, Survivor is a game and each player has to rise above certain alliances they made in the beginning, just to make it further in the game.
