My latest review is going to be on Sports Authority Zone at the Berkshire Mall. This is a new store for the mall. A lot of sports stores have come and gone. Olympia Sports, Champs, and Sports Knack are just a few of the sports related stores that have left the mall. Many of them were driven out by the local Footlocker and Steve & Barry's store. The Sports Authority Zone is far different from the other sports stores at the mall, They concentrate on selling a little bit of everything, something that is allowing them to stick out from the competition.

A quick visit to Sports Authority Zone does not give the store any justice. You will need to spend a lot of time in the store. Almost every item in the store relates to a sporting team. There are football clocks, basketball socks, baseball cups, and soccer monopoly games. You will even find paintings, clothing, tiny toys, and waste basket sporting products. The massive selection of different products allows you to always find something you want.

One thing that bothered me was how cluttered the store was. The store was very big, but all the products were placed around the location very sloppy. Actually, it looked like they set up the store once and have no spent anytime cleaning it back up. This also led me to believe that many of their products were old or out dated items. Usually, I would of never had a reaction like this. It was mainly due to how everything looked. A clean facility can go a long way. A less cluttered store can also go a long way as well. I was very disappointed with both.

Customer service was also an area of concern. The staff of the store were kids who were even younger than myself. Each kid could have been no older than twenty-four years old. They spent most of their time laughing and flirting with teenage girls. I was never asked once if I needed help with anything. Both were also not very polite as I was checking out. My cashier continued to chat with the girls, not acknowledging me even once.
